Historically, it has always been warm on Rushil's birthday. Assuming this year would be no different, I planned an outside party with ziplining, sack races, 3 legged races, and an egg hunt. But this year, the weather has been bizarre, the rains came late and it was pouring the night before his birthday. I was debating whether to cancel or what to do. Fortunately, it was cloudy and cold on the day of his party but at least there was no rain. The boys were not bothered by the weather at all, we did move some of the games indoors but we managed to have an egg hunt, sack races and all the boys took turns on the zipline. Sindhu was a huge help, she organized many of the games, she planned the egg hunt and she managed the boys for a good part of the afternoon. Towards the end, she lost her patience with them and hung out in her room but we really had an easy time with the party because of her.

This looks like so much fun - a lot to plan and pull off though and quite worth it from Rushil's expressions. He had a ball from the looks of it..
Cannot believe he is 9 years old already..
