Now if you've heard of the game, I would be quite impressed. It's quite popular in South East Asia and apparently, it has become a competitive game in the South Asian Games. We saw a few men playing it in the park in Penang and we were so fascinated, we watched them for a good 1/2 hour.

Interesting you bring that up. We had done a girl scout camp in March of this year and we had camp counselers from Argentina.
They demonstrated a similar game but instead of a regular ball,they had a cloth ball which did not bounce. it was a team game where the goal was to keep this cloth thing in the air for as long as possible..
apparently lots of street kids play this variation in rural areas.
