A chat place I'll take you to when you visit

Today on our way home, I was telling Prasad and his friend that I was craving some chat. His friend suggested this great eatery that serves chat and a whole host of other dishes. It's called Bharatiya and it's in HSR Layout at the BD complex. It was not a fancy place and was cafeteria style but it was neat and clean. Sindhu had pao bhaji but mainly the pao. She dips the pao in the bhaji and after 4 pieces of bread, it looks like she didn't touch the bhaji. She asks for more pao and repeats the whole process and she then goes on to declare how much she loves pao bhaji :-) Rushil had pasta and in India when you order pasta at an Indian restaurant, the standard practice is to "indiafy" it so it's too spicy for the kids to eat. We never learn and always forget to ask them to hold the chilli powder and had re-order it for him again. Since Rushil couldn't eat the spicy version, I sampled it and it was delicious! For dessert, we savoured freshly made jalebi and the best part was that the jalebis were small so they were not overly drenched in the syrup. My mother had bhel puri and pani puri. If her stomach is fine tomorrow, then the place has passed the hygiene test. It was a great way to start off our weekend.

My mom is the hygiene tester because she just arrived so her tolerance levels will be lower :-)

The restaurant passed the test.

Teju, we can go when you come, there are quite a few other places to try too.
