Different Interpretations

Yesterday, Prasad stepped out of the apartment noticed that our maid had pressed the "UP" button for the elevator even though she wanted to go down. He asked her why she pressed "UP" and she said she was calling the elevator to come up. Isn't that interesting? We're programmed to think in a certain way and yet for her this explanation was perfectly logical which it is. It clarifies why many of the maids press the opposite button and the elevator stops needlesslessly  at many of the floors.
