Mother's Day

Did you know that Mother's Day is very popular here? I must have missed all the Mother's Day hype last year or I've conveniently forgotten about it. The radio stations have been talking about nothing else all week.  How many combinations of " how would you describe your mother or what do you like best about her" can they come up ?  The sappiness is a tad nauseating.  Restaurants have been running Mother's Day themes in their restaurants all week long. On Friday, we went out for a team lunch and one floor they were serving a "home cooked meal" in honour of Mother's day. According to the radio, I should be treated to a day at the spa,  is anybody listening? :-)  Happy Mother's Day!
