He lost a tooth!
Rushil lost his first tooth today. All day he was complaining that it was loose and bothering him. Unlike Sindhu he was not at all interested in the tooth fairy and what she would bring him. When it finally came out, he realized the enormity of it and put it into a ziplock bag and was concerned about losing it. Sindhu in the meantime told me that she doesn't believe in the tooth fairy and thinks I am the fairy and is planning on staying up all night to catch me in the "act". It's interesting beacuse Sindhu was really excited about losing a tooth when she was 6 and talked about it all the time. Keshini, my sister's daughter who is also 6 was asking Rushil if he lost a tooth or if any were wobbly, she is also dying to lose a tooth. Rushil on the other couldn't have cared less. Another interesting difference between a boy and a girl or at least between my boy and girl. What do you think, should I tell him that the tooth fairy can't fly all the way to India, too cruel?

It is interesting how he does not care - it must be a girl/boy thing. Both Nina and Anika are hugely into tooth fairies.
It would be very very mean to say tooth fairies wont fly to India - I wonder what Indian tooth fairies bring.
post a toothless picture please
Megha wants to be convinced that we are the ones doing it, though we have been playing up to real want of it being a fairy. Nithya brushes us off when we talk about tooth fairy saying, that its us...keep em believing as long as you can..sure sign of growing up
