More on Health Treatments

We've given allopathy, homeopathy and ayurveda a try. In the last 2 weeks, we've been trying another alternative allergy elimination treatment called NAET. It's a very time consuming program,  each treatment requires you to go to the center and to see results, you need to go almost 4-5 days a week for a couple of months and possibly less often after that. After the first treatment, I was somewhat skeptical whether this could work or not. But the treatment has helped my neighbor's childrens' asthma and allergies. One child we see at the center quite frequently had severe food allergies and behavioural issues and now some of his most severe allergies are gone.  The children that most benefit from this program are autistic children and the nurse said it's so rewarding to see a child who was not talking, start communicating after a couple of sessions. This is how it works: Sister Naina introduces the allergen in your hand and tests to see if you're allergic to it or not. If you are allergic to it, she performs acupressure and then you wait for 20 minutes in the office and she repeats the acupressure treatment. You're then asked to not  consume or touch the allergen for 24 hours. This is the most painful part because there are days when all they could eat is plain pasta, rice and cauliflower.  Rushil's most obvious food allergy is cashews and yesterday he went through this treatment so we'll see if it's eliminated or not. His other allergies manifest as eczema and asthma so it's very hard to tell  if it's working unless many of his allergies are eliminated and the eczema and asthma improve over time.  I'll post an update in a month and let you know how the treatment is faring.
