Most evenings, Rushil and my mother are in negotiations for television time. Rushil likes to watch a bit of IPL (cricket) before he sleeps and my mother-in-law likes to watch her soaps. Rushil wins out but he agreed to let her watch her shows during commercials. Today she declared that when we move back, we need to have an extra television for her in the guest bedroom :-)
Sindhu mostly watches her shows during the weekends and she prefers to watch it on her laptop, since there is too much competition for the television. Every once in awhile, she'll ask which team is playing and who is winning, it's her way of getting involved in what we're doing.
