Last week, we headed to the airport for our Diwali trip. It was a fabulous trip and more details about in later posts.
At the Bangalore airport, they had two security lines, one for women and one for men. Usually, they have one line but when it's time to be frisked, they separate the men from the women. But this time around, they had 2 completely separate lines and what bothered me was that the men had multiple friskers but the women had only one and it took us 3-4 times longer to get through security.
The same thing happened when we were at Taj Mahal. There were 2 separate lines and it took the women at least 10 minutes longer to get through.
Also somehow the women behind me think the whole process will go faster if they rub themselves right up against me leaving literally no space between us and if I didn't block them, they would happily jump in front of me in line... (that is my biggest pet peeve, there is no concept of a line here and no concept of personal space :-))
