Don't you want to just jump into the snow? With the warm weather, it's very tempting. It's actually foam that collects at the end of a stream. Although it looks very pretty, it smells like rotten eggs even with the windows rolled up. I had to hold my breath to take this picture. The stream is so polluted and the foam is the residue from the toxins. Upstream, cows drink from the same stream, people take baths,wash their clothes and fish. Money has been set aside to clean it up but unfortunately, it's been diverted.

wow - great picture - but the description reminds me of a picture we took when we were in India - the view was idyllic with women washing clothes and buffaloes grazing nearby. The stench was unbearable though - sewer water like almost..
