Our friend Shobha lives in the same colony as we do and has been endlessly complaining about a pack of monkeys that live on a tree next to their home. They try to enter their house, defecate all over the patio and balcony and they often scare the tenants. They had to get special screens and covers on their patio doors and cannot open their windows freely. Until yesterday, I had not seen a monkey here. Yesterday, out of the blue, I saw 6-7 of them on our compound wall eating some seeds or fruits. They were only there for a few minutes and then disappeared. I hope we don't see them too frequently but it was pretty exciting to see them yesterday.

Monkeys
