Morning Wakeup Call

There is an Ayappa festival going on right now and every morning at 6:30AM, they blast devotional songs for an hour so. I don't really mind as the music is quite nice and it's a reminder to me that I better start getting ready. The interesting thing is that noise pollution is not regulated all. Sometimes late at night (9 or 10PM), someone will be blasting devotional songs or movie songs and noone blinks an eye. When I mention it others, I think they are so used it, they hardly notice that there was music blasting. Even our security guard blows loud whistles in the middle of night. We can be thankful for the fact that we do not have to hear traffic noises from our home.
